I've been using this amp for nearly a year now and I love it. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? For me it's worth every penny. I have settled on the Two-Rock TR65 speakers in an old Bruno 212 cab which sound great. It's all been said before about this amp, it's unforgiving as this track points out but when you're on it it's the most rewarding experience.

  • Just got the combo 1X12 Jet this week. Yes, pricey and very worth it for me. Both channels are very close to my Custom Reverb Signature v.2. VERY CLOSE. I tempted to sell my DRZ MAZ38SR since it hardly get played anymore.

Nice three piece sounds there. Sounding very tasteful.

  • thanks @KU5Q The Jet is such a great amp. I personaly prefer it over the bigger amps only because I could crank it at the levels we play and it was still very comfortable.

  • Great stuff. How do you compare the Jet and the Studio?

Another question I have is what is the 'octave' stuff starting 1:39

I never get that sounds right.

    Thanks :) ROCK!

  • @markcheung07 Hey mark, the octave stuff is just that, octaves sliding up the neck. I loce the Jet, i really think its a wonderful amp full of character. Like i've said this is the stock standrard Jet. I bought this before the had the sig version, and i guess me being me i would have got the sig version if i could have, but it takes nothing away from how fab this amp is.

  • All these videos are great, I love the different amp comparisons.

There are always good comments about the guitar and the playing. But this time I have to say what a tight and stylish rhythm section you have there, your drummer and bass player work really well together.

    Rock on lads.

  • yeah, my boys rock. I'm just flappin about but they keep it all together. What a difference it makes playing with a great rhythm section

  • @TheGigRigDaniel Absolutely, I don't use my Custom Reverb as much since getting the Jet. The Jet mics up well if needed. People are constantly asking me about the sound, they cannot believe I'm getting the sounds out of a small amp like this. You guys sound great, keep up the good work.

  • @markcheung07 The Studio PRO is all about clean & lots of head room. It has some grit to it when driven hard, is single channel. You'd have to play through one to understand. I have the Jet 35 1 X 12 and love it. It also has a great clean channel, but it's more a mini Custom Reverb. The Studio Pro is more a mini Classic Reverb. Both are great amps. Both deceptively loud for 35 watts.

  • @TheGigRigDaniel Thanks for the quick reply. I wonder if there is any shape to it at 1:39. Octave chord shape like hendrix, SRV.

The jet seems very capable of handling effects.

  • You guys are all great! Wonderful inspiring playing.

  • what pickups have you got in that tele? i just got one pretty much the same, and i was just wondering if you have any extra spice in that tele:)

  • Also, Great guitar tone!!! Vox Tone was probably my favorite!
