Don't Go Chasing Feather Falls

2 of my friends and I hiked up a 7.8 mile trail to the top of Feather Falls. Apparently a boy died while jumping over rocks on the top and fell down the falls. On the way back down all of us were tired and beat! That trail is a great butt lifter! haha!

I love Feather Falls. Had a girlfriend up there as a kid and had way too much fun up there.

When I used to camp there, it was never fenced in, good thing it is now, some people have no sense in their heads.

I came about as close to losing my life as you can up on top the falls a few days ago. My dad had gotten himself stuck trying to get up close pictures of the falls by the gate. I had to pull his 220 pound body back over a 4 foot rock totally vertical only hanging onto a small tree branch. I lost my grip and started to fall. I caught myself on a small baby plant growing through a crack in the rock. Lucky to be here today.

That looks really scary. I dont think i could make it up to a waterfall that is THAT high. Looks like fun though :P
