  • I was at the Mid-Ohio race this past weekend. Keith Jones was there with visible burns, but they brought him up at victory circle and honored him and he received the biggest applause out of the entire day. It was a great sight to see after the horrible accident.

  • How is the dude now?

  • Here is a useless fact: At 1:17 you can see Lindy Thackston working for radio Lemans. She is now a pit lane reporter for IndyCar on versus.

  • Thats crazy. I was on the other side of the track and could see the smoke billowing above the trees.

  • amen

  • Very scary. I work on the 18 car and our pit box was right next to that. Gave me nightmares especially being 10 ft away and watching his face literally burn off. It said 4-6 months recovary for him.

  • The commentators are from Nascar on NBC cuz i've recognized their voice

  • Unfortunate sloppy pit timing with volatile racing gas. I'm sure the Audi pits would have different results under the same circumstances!

  • Keith Jones of de Ferran Motorsports has had his condition downgraded from critical to serious on July 22, 2008.
