Let's Blindly Play: Castlevania, Dawn of Sorrow [03] Escort Services

PREVIOUSLY: With Hammer off to find a shop, Soma decided to explore on his own for a bit. He took some time to go over the information collected in his personal journal before setting out to find the answers to his questions about Celia Fortner. However, the compound was filled with monsters similar to those from Dracula's Castle, allowing Soma to gain dominance over them again.

SYNOPSIS: Making his way east, Soma quickly stumbled upon his old friends, Yoko Belnades and Julius Belmont. It appears that both Yoko and Julius are also here to investigate the cult's activities, and they urge Soma to leave before the power of dominance begins to overtake him like it did a year ago. However, Soma refuses to leave, so Julius heads deeper into the castle while Yoko asks Soma to escort her to a safe place in the Lost Village where she can act as a headquarters for Julius' intel. On the way, Soma is forced to fight the menacing Flying Armor, an enchanted demon capable of hovering above the ground with his twin swords. Once it's dead, Soma and Yoko part ways so that Soma can continue his exploration.

NEXT TIME: With Flying Armor out of the way, Soma has access to the entirety of the Lost Village. The souls of the creatures hidden within the ramshackle village soon fall under Soma's dominion. Meanwhile, Yoko and Hammer have set up rival shops somewhere in the village. But where does the village lead to? Stay tuned!
