@jspain61 you must have the 8 ohm cab... is that right? I am thinking about getting a single 4 ohm cab setup. That will give me the most out of my amp.

@fred900rr Naw bro don't get that fender combo it does not have any bottom neither does it have good tonal quality. Please if you need a small rig get the GK 2x10 neo or the112 or 212, they are not expensive like the eden and ebs stuff (which I have had) and it pro quality. With GK or SWR (stay away from the swr 350 amp, and working man swr speaker, (goliath only) you don't have to work that hard. I always get the head separate so I am not limited to a specific cab.

Hey man, love your GK! I've got a GK 700RB II that I'm thinking of pairing with GK NEO 410 or 2 GK NEO 212 cabs. How do you like your 410? Is it loud enough? If that a 4 ohm version? I'd get a 4 ohm version to get most out of my amp.

@mouthmw Dude the GK stuff is plenty loud. I don't know how they get that stuff so loud. Even the 400rb I had would push a mountain. The 700rb I had seemed to be every bit as strong as my 1001RB I have now. You have no worries. I have the 8ohm and it still shakes the church lol and the amp is saying I still have some power left.

@jspain61 thanks for the reply! Can't go wrong with GK! Definitely my favorite bass amp gear! I had an Ampeg SVT 810 before with my GK 700RB II, and that was a great combo. But I decided to trim the size a bit because it was a pain to move at times, and it got banged up in the van too, so I decided to go all GK. I also tried Ampeg 410HLF which I hated - muddy flappy huge lows, no definition, no mids.

@mouthmw I agree, especially when you add a tube preamp and parametric eq

I just bought an Ampeg SVT3-Pro and I have been reading about A LOT of different cabs lately to go with it. This GK is one I will be looking at... I can't get to a store to check them out due to work for another 3 weeks or so.
How do you like it so far (since this video) any pros/cons you want to share? Have you pushed it? Clarity/punch?

@ryevick I love the GK rig. It's really cheaper than a lot of them and I think it blows others away. This cabinet has it all. Lows, highs, mids, and whatever else you need. It is totally loud and clear. It sounds thick to me with the GK heads. I tell you to get the fullest from it you must get a gk head to use the bi-amp feature because that's the money maker. I sometimes use my eden wt600 with it but the eden get to hot trying to push it. Its seems like the cabinet is laughing at it lol.
