@geofgTrust me on this. Maybe while she is young she can be predijuced(not that she will. since of course she's so fun to be around) But when she enters the high grades she will be thought really cool because she can speak english and japanese fluently.

@Cherrierune I hope you are right. Nina has a social personality, so I think she will always have friends, but as I work at a high school, I have had a chance to observe students who lived in the U.S. etc. who are embarrassed to use English in class. It's true the other students are impressed when they hear them talk, but in some cases, this just embarrasses the students more. And even now, Nina doesn't like to use English at her daycare. But, maybe she will think it's cool some day.

You're daughter is so adorable! It makes me rather jealous though, I've always wanted to adopt a child, japanese, korean, chinese, I dont care. I can't wait for the future. You'r Nina does the Aquarium video was adorable! Tell me, do you ever get ridiculed for having a half japanese child (I should hope not, because she's adorable!)? Or are people rather accepting over there? I've heard both sides of that. O:

Nina hasn't experienced any prejudice so far, but we'll see how it goes when she gets into elementary school.
