@Tome4kkkk That's one complaint I have with solid edge (up to v19 anyway) The inability to have total control over key customization. I actually really like the ctrl/shift mouse combos as it works very well once you get the hang of it. I'm learning Inventor 11 right now and it won't let me use those keys though which is a PITA.

I got the freeware Solid Edge 2D drafting ST (the latest one) and I'm surprised that the view commands are not properly preconfigured for the mouse like in 99% CAD or not-CAD software, including PLM's NX. The problem is it most probably can't be solved using the Options menu.
The desirable configuration is:
mouse wheel fwd/back -> zoom in/ot
middle mouse button/mouse wheel click -> panning (while held down)
Without it the whole work is just cumbersome.
Hi Tome4kk. Here’s a tip to enable zoom with the mouse wheel in Solid Edge 2D, but many users seem to like the default Ctrl/Shift modifiers. Here’s how:
1. With a draft document open, go to the applications button and select options.
2. Select view, and uncheck the horizontal and vertical scroll bar check boxes.
3. Now when you use the zoom tool the scroll wheel zooms in and out to the cursor position. Alt+Z is a handy shortcut giving fast access to the zoom tool.
