I decided to record a game that should've been for the Wii or DS, but is sadly on the 360 where it currently resides under a heap of XBOX Live Arcade titles. The sequel to one of the most epic puzzle games ever, Meteos Wars. And for those of you who've never played Meteos, GO AND BUY A COPY OFF OF AMAZON.COM NOW! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Anyway, since nobody plays this game online anymore, I'll just be doing a run-through of all the planets that are in the game. Don't get me wrong; this is NOT a walkthrough. These are under the same category as my random online vids. So I won't be finishing this series before my next ACTUAL walkthrough. I'll be describing the gravity and features of each planet, so I hope you enjoy.
Geolyte
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Gambit
Similar to how it was in the DS version, Geolyte is a good planet for people to learn the basics. It has a standard gravity, ignition and descent time. That being said, it doesn't have a lot of strengths or weaknesses.
Something new that's been introduced in Meteos Wars is the Planet Impact feature. You'll notice under your avatar representing the planet you're using that there's a meter that fills up with each ignition and fills up when Meteos are launched off your screen. When it completely fills up, you can activate the Planet Impact. There are four of them in all; Tempest, Sentinel, Gambit and Armegeddon. Gambit increases the amount of garbage Meteos sent over from your side to your opponent's. It's handy when you have a large stack ignited and are ready to send them off your playing field.
Anasaze
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Armageddon
Anazaze resembles a very close-to-dried-up desert. Though it's similar to Geolyte in being easy to learn, the gravity is a bit heavier here, so your ignitions won't go as high and launched Meteos will descend faster. A good way to counter this is to group as many Meteos as you can and then ignite three vertical Meteos within that group to launch them off your screen faster.
Armageddon is probably the best of the four Planet Impacts since it's the most effective. When Armageddon is activated, a large group of Meteos that can't be ignited falls on your opponent's side. They instantly weigh anything down, so if your opponent's in the middle of igniting a bunch of Meteos, it'll drop them back down like that.
@FOG2006 meh Firim is to light for me. Brabbit is easy to juggle the Meteos in the long run.

It's a real shame they slapped this on Live. I'm a huge fan of the original on DS and I can't help but think an analog stick and an A button is no replacement for a stylus.

I have not played Geolyte, but Anasaze seems to fit my playing style.
