This is1 of my 4 favorites of Mahalia's songs: Nearer My God To Thee, Troubles of The World & A Mighty Fortress are the other 3. Every time I listen to her, I find another one that moves me to tears, These are not tho't up tears, either...they come all by themselves from the depths of my soul.

Man I tell you I'm 21 years old and I listen to what I call great music as far as jazz, R&B, Soul, Gospel, Country even classical and I tell you she's the greatest AND she only sang one genre of music (Gospel) and she's my favorite singer then there's everyone else no questions Asked! Also, I read her biography, seen all her intervews, listened to all her music, and it seems like her soul was spotless as if she was an angel from GOD Listen to that VOICE
