The Nigerian Inter-Faith Action Association (NIFAA), in partnership with the United Nations Special Envoy for Malaria, the Nigerian Ministry of Health, the Nigerian National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP), the World Bank and the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty (CIFA), kick off Faiths United for Health - a campaign led by faith leaders across sub-Saharan Africa to combat poverty through the promotion of health.
The Nigerian Inter-Faith Action Association is working closely with the National Malaria Control Programme during their nation-wide mosquito net distribution process to promote the use of bed nets in Nigeria and to positively change attitudes towards malaria prevention.
