    I like it better in the German version where the guy actually hits his traitor girlfriend.

    With your permission, I would like to use your post here with my classes that I teach on Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. I am trying to illustrate that the Nazis were evil. Most Germans were good people who got caught up in the, as you stated, control of the masses.
