  • The railroad is not normally open to the public. However, there is an opportunity for the general public to visit on March 28 by purchasing an advance ticket from the San Louis Obisbo Railroad Museum as part of a fundraiser. visit SLORRM's website (sorry youtube doesn't allow URLs in comments) for more information. Click 'events' on the left.

  • Dinosorable

    that was a K-27, not a K-36.

  • Someday, it would be awesome to bring my future live steam replica of Sierra Railway #3 to places like this! Too bad I gotta wait till I get a good paying job and/or retirement!

  • That Nickel Plate 2-8-4, that Southern Pacific GS-4, and that K-36 are my favorite ones.

  • small tenderless locomotives just look good

  • i love those 2.5 scale locomotives, they look amazing, i am a true sucker for the old time looks and wood cabs great music too
