You have to look at the Old Testament and note the many times God tells the reader that He specifically reserved the land called Israel for his own people, the Jews.There are many verses stating as such.You might argue that the Jews would falsely quote this "God" wants them to steal the land..but all the verses are there. The Jews say God gave it to them.
