@rmsyster nah it was considered for a bio war project by the Russians/US but it kills its host to quickly to be extremely effective. It comes from nature but naturally it will mutate on its own. Zaire, sudan, mayinga etc... You know a Japanese cultist group tried to get some for an attack on Tokyo thank god they failed.
@jwm322 They have developed animal vaccines, but nothing solid that will work on humans. As of Dec of last year, there was high hope in a current study being done, but it hasn't been tested on humans, yet.
There is also a cure for it at USAMRID, but it's mostly useless to civilians as it has to be administered within 30 minutes of infection. Not very likely.
Wonderfully done with beautiful images. There IS a antiviral treatment, but it's only effective if given w/in a short period of time, so is only useful for lab workers and those who know for certain when they get infected.

Is this virus nature herself or is this a failed experiment?

Also, rehydration through IV has proven to be beneficial during infection to replace lost fluids and electrolytes, but is not a true treatment.
