no they pronounce it right
because in thai language the word "Chalie" is an old word for naming people.
If you know enough about thai, you'd know an old literature called "Kanha and Chalie" which was written a few hundred years ago.

i think his name is supposed to be Charlie, but thai pronounces it Chalie heheh funny.
