Thank you to everyone who has come here (wanting to hear a great song, obviously) and has ever-so-briefly allowed themselves to experience a little bit of my brother's life. I am deeply touched by your extremely kind words and thoughts. As what would have been Jeff's 40th birthday approaches (on July 25, 2011), this video still makes my heart ache with both sorrow and joy... and I am grateful that we were able to finally see The Fixx together in Baltimore during the last summer of his life.

Sorry for your loss, it is a beautiful tribute to him. It looks like he was surrounded by loving family and friends. My mom also passed away from cancer in 2004. May God Bless his family until you all are reunited again in heaven.

can create an everlasting feeling that I won't

together I think it's safe to say I would not

have known who you are or were. That sound

being the FIXX with pics will always be in me. People come together in many different

i just read what you wrote about jeff. i am so proud of him for being a sports reporter. my dad died of cancer this year too on may 13th. it was very emotionally & mentally painful to watch. once again my condolences to you & your family.

I'm sorry for your loss... It sounds hollow but it's all I can say as a stranger I'm not an overly spiritual person but I believe he is in a better place and he will never be forgotten!

My condolences on your loss. This song has always spoken volumes to me, and it says alot about Jeff for liking this particular song. Before I became a Christian, "reaching the beach" to me was living out my goals and dreams. Now, "reaching the beach" is making it thru my daily life with the goal of honoring the Lord until He calls me home to heaven, the last beach i will ever need to reach. It is my prayer that Jeff made it home to heaven's beach as well.
