Beautiful music and beautiful comments - so uplifting and kind!

I often find that conductors either take this piece too fast or don't spend enough time in the first 12 measures. Chung does it perfectly, as did Krips with the LSO. Fantastic!

This to me is a great version of the purest piece of music ever produced by a human. it does to the soul what music is supposed to do. I just bought a ticket to see the VSO performing it in January. Second time for me.

This symphony was played in my car on my weekly visits to the English Lake District, usually with my young children in the car.
Every time I hear it, I am back in the Lake District watching the cloud shadows over the mountains, lambs in the fields and sunlight dappling off the tarns and lakes. (sigh)
A magical piece of music and a beautiful interpretation.

@RoguexxEndito Have you really never heard it? That's cool. So you really found it stunning the first listen? This is the loveliest, most innocent piece of music in the world to me.

Amazing performance. One of my favorite symphonies ever. Thank you for uploading it.

I really like Chung's interpretation and this orchestra's performance. I don't know why but I think this is what I have always wanted this piece to sound like. There was an image that I associated with this music, and Chung turned it into reality.
