gotta love how most of the pictures are of the unpatriotic yuppies, and yet, there are none featuring the town's boy scout troop.

Like I said, our parade is comprised mostly of true Patriots - people who honor the principles of free speech . Just because someone wraps themselves in the flag or wears any kind of "uniform" (get it ?) doesn't automatically mean they honor our country - sometimes they are honoring their own private version -which is often bigotry, homophobia, xenophobia, terrorism and general intolerance . I suspect they would also disagree with the words on our Statue of Liberty.

you know what bro,the images are really amazing and whitefield is such a beautiful and relaxing town in Maine,but something is wrong here,The parades on July 4th are not as "patriotic" as you said,I went to couple of parades there and they're actually really protest against the US government. Good images!

Certainly you can't be suggesting that anyone who protests against our government aren't patriotic.

On the contrary Whitefield paraders are well known for their high degree of patriotism.

We love our country for providing free speech and freedom from dictatorial rule.
