Now if those of you who was watching my Spondon series, you may remember a class 153 in EMT livery. Well this is the very model of that particular 153 DMU. So for those of you & me included who are thinking of getting one of these all new models, here's a close up for you....Now where's my cheque book??

In the next video we move on to another display stand & manufacturer. I'll show another new item they may just be of intrest to a lot of British modellers.
More to follow.

  • yeah i like them probably as it's my local route and i cant wait for the class 43 to come out it will be even better if they make a 222 class

  • @eddiestobartrules Yes, really wish they'd do a model of it. While i think on, check the latest video on my home page...fresh out the paint shop!!

  • must be me i can't remember them going there though i thought they stopped at sheffield

  • @eddiestobartrules Depends which service, certainly a colourful livery though :-)

  • @ay76

i just did my work experience at derby and went on a cab ride to matlock and these trains take 6 minuates to get from one end of the platform to the other! i havent seen any go to doncaster (i think it is done by xc trains) the mst they go north is to sheffield. thanks

  • @eddiestobartrules Nice one with the work experience. EMT do run services further north, have a look at their route map. Doncaster does have a regular EMT service.

  • @eddiestobartrules Also from Doncaster to Lincoln & out towards Barnetby. We did the EMT Hornby 153 ( the very one they've modelled) from Crewe to Derby. Gets around a bit does this unit.

  • @walrusthefirst

em rains run through nottingham and derby to london mainly but this train runs from and to nottingham and derby and matlock sometimes they go to skegness in the school holidays.

  • @2002And Well worth going, lots to see & also burn a massive hole in the old wallet!!

  • I have always wanted to go to a model show this big - i have been to small ones (based at secondary schools, etc.) but i wouldn't mind going somewhere where i don't get ripped off as much to do with the size of the show (small shows mean that the traders can put their prices up because of demand!). :D
