BP's Kent Wells uses technical animation to show the step-by-step process of installing the new sealing cap system on the leaking well. The new cap has the potential to contain all of the oil from the well, and to aid future well kill efforts associated with the ongoing relief well operations.

  • You BP bone heads! Looks like you're finally going to try something similar to what my family and I thought about MONTHS ago! Meanwhile, everything within kicking distance of your corrupt, greedy, power hungry multinational corporation is dying and/or being bankrupted, and/or being told that they cannot observe the mess you've made.

Youtubes commenting system does not censor things and you can not block terms in a comment for a reason; it is used to express the opinion of the audiences of a video. It is hard to be 'respectful' of a company that has single-handedly ruined thousands of lives.

  • You are not fair people. Since I asked the USCG to admit that it came from me Afif Abou-Raphael, they got lost because apparently they were planning to harvest the positive results for themselves. Later when I insisted they fabricated real lies in order to deny my right of having at least a thank you note.

And the American administration approved the lies apparently to not saying it came from me.

But, why didn’t you say yet from where it came?

    Is it the answer?

  • Mr. Kent Wells is saying that they had this idea since day one. It is a big lie, because if they had it they didn’t try so many expensive gadgets without even controlling at 5% the spill. I sent this idea to the US Coast Guard and to President Clinton on May 15, 2010. In addition the idea was sent to president Obama on July 23, 2010, and Dr. be sent it to the USCG after receiving it from me and told them to use it. It stayed about two months in their drawer and the spill grew about 71% more

  • @RedDelPaPa You already thought of this? Wow!!! I had no idea you knew what a three ram capping stack was and how it worked. I can't believe how "boneheaded" the people of YouTube are thinking that they themselves could have solved this problem. Why didn't you send them in a letter with diagrams and maps?

  • @BPplc Dear BP I understand you're angry that your profits are being affected. Before you scavange our planet and destroy the wellfare of thousands, whilst holding millions of others to randsom over oil. We, would like to ask you to kindly remove you cranium from whatever orifice it is stuck in and stop tying to take the moral highground here. "Fosho415" may have used inappropriate language, what a naughty boy! Why don't you and your arrogant, avaricious friends take a look at what you've done.

  • i appreciate this is an emotive topic but i suggest people vent their anger at the relevant companies responsible. And well done to BP for actually allowing comments on the vids. I'm sure they realised they'd only get flak on here.

  • It's kind of odd that all this anger is directed towards BP and Britain when it seems that a lot of the failure were caused by American companies and America-made equipment. And while i don't think BP are without blame in this it's not something that's entirely their fault. It's kind of like buying a plane with a design flaw and then blaming the pilot and NOT The manufacturer when something goes wrong.

  • @RedDelPaPa well if you and your family thought of the idea why didn't you forward it to BP? BP did say they welcomed suggestions on how to deal with the leak

  • @RedDelPaPa to bad when they go bankrupt you americans wont have any oil :P
