to be honest, the singer rick brennen who madethe backing track, was part of the group changes from 1983 to 1985 he was singer and percussionist of the group, you can see it in the following photos when he was young with his band is the easily recognized :

Bunch of part time actors and waitresses . And real people like Oliver Cheatham still singing live and giving great performances and REAL singing.

It is definitely not the original band & every artist on the show sang to tracks. D-train had his own track. the bands history francisdepuydt got it right. They where just studio musicians & put together tracks they released. Back in the day there where groups from NY. That played on each others hits, and they had no desire to leave NY. hearing their songs on the radio & being released was enough. They would be a group just long enough to make an album and then spilt 2 other groups/projects

Isn't this is what exposed Milli Vanilli??? Lip-Syncing??? I love the group, but it's sad they had to resort to this....during a live performance yet.
