Force Quit on a Mac and then go to your Library and edit the SessionStore files in the Firefox folder in Application Support folder and delete everything in between the little brackets that has to do with the site. :P

@SamcasticAtGmail the only thing i dont like about chrome is SO MANY websites, and especially download pages dont work. then i open firefox or iexplorer or whatever and it works perfectly.

Wow I feel stupid that I even have to type this out. Right click on the start bar and go to 'Start Task Manager'. Go to 'Applications', click on whatever browser you're using, and click 'End Task' and it will force quit the application...

Use the Google Chrome browser. It asks you if you want to accept additional dialog from the website, and you "just say no".
Plus, it's the fastest browser out there.
