All you people that bang on about the rotary hp vs capacity never seem to realise that a 4-stroke piston engine only uses half its displacement per revolution to make power. It doesn't matter how much you try to fudge the figures, it all comes down to power vs amount of fuel burned, in which case the rotary fails.

i use to own a really old rotory mazda wagon and i had to put transmission fluid down the carb every morning so i can start it, other wise it did not start. other then that i really loved that car. it was a very fast car.
