heat....cobras are known for that but the new cobras have fancy heat sheilds so you dont see the discolored pipes.

ive seen that before on aftermarket pipes, i wanna get a set for my 900 soon. what causes that?

Sounds good, is that with baffles or with none at all. Did you have to install a power commander or fuel processor of some type when you put on the after market pipes?

thats with baffles, And no we didn't have to use any power commanders/fuel processors. Bike runs fine with some popping on deceleration. which is normal.

What is that second bike, and what pipes are on it? I think I liked that sound a bit better.

The second bike is my 2004 Vulcan 800 with Cobra fatty staggereds on it... Sounds good, but the front head pipe is really discolered already. But i think its my own fault.
