Quick Stop Gas Station Robbed

On 12/6/09 at 0338 an unknown suspect robbed the clerk at the Quick Stop Gas Station located at 1091 Leisure Town Road. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind and forced him to the ground. The suspect choked the victim until he was unconscious and helpless. Once the clerk was unconscious the suspect took his time and collected several items from the store. He was seen leaving the area in a vehicle similar to a maroon colored mid 1980s Cadillac coupe. The crime was captured on video surveillance and photos of the suspect and his vehicle have been attached to this press release.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for his injuries. He has been released from the hospital and is now recovering at home. Detectives from the Investigative Services Section responded to the crime scene and began working on the case immediately.

The Vacaville Police are asking for help from the public with this case. Please review the attached photos of the suspect and his vehicle taken from video surveillance footage. If someone recognizes this person please contact the police immediately.
