  • nothing in this world is free. i gave my son a kiss and hug after basic and the next time i saw him he was being put back together because a mortar tore his guts out. but we love our country and will still defend her.

  • My dear friend (Possybeatty) I am a soldier in the US Army and I am fighting in Mosul, Iraq. It is hard, letting someone you know leave for combat (my kids and wife pray and cry for me every night) but we are all in this together, all over the world to fight the Alquida, and Taliban...I will pray for him everyday as I do all the families back home...for us soldiers fighting on the front line, we ALL thank you back at home for your support...that's what keeps us fighting...and coming home!!

I appreciate your support, and I'm glad you understand what my point was.

My dad went to Afghanistan September 11th, 2008, and he came back April 11th 2009. That moment when I finally got to hug him when he got off his plane was the best moment of my life. I'll never forget the feeling of knowing my dad's home and safe.
