During the first hour of the race. Great scrap as Pedro Lamy in the Aston Martin tries to get pass Johnny O'Connell's Corvette.
Part of it wasn't shown on Speed TV's coverage.

The Corvette is not plastic, so now you're outright lying and/or believing whatever Jeremy Clarkson says, thus proving you're all the more clueless about the car! Go Google search and see the materials the Corvette is made of, and surely it's not plastic. LOL! So you enjoy being embarrassed by me? Apparently, you do! Must be a weird fetish! :-)

Even the cheaper Z06 Carbon has carbon fiber, magnesium, etc. And only the back part of the trunk is fiber gl

@Dominator5515 I know, I was there both years, in fact I haven't missed a year since 2004. If you read what I said, I said that the Aston had a very rough first 2 years, but once it was sorted, as in once it wasn't exploding when they ran it flat out it was the better car around le sarthe, but the better car around say laguna seca or lime rock? Corvette every time.

@osp80 It would seem the DBR is faster on straights, and C6R faster in corners, so I think it's quite the opposite :)

@Dominator5515 i'd expect P&M to beat prodrive and aston, as aston havn't built a GT racer... ever. P&M was the better team, more experienced GT drivers but once the dbr9 was mechanically sorted in 2006 it won both years untill they stopped in favour of running p1. don't get me wrong, c6r is the better all track car, the dbr9 was designed to win at le sarthe, which it did once the problems got ironed out, like that stupid fuel pump and oil pipe design.
