Windows XP Mode Windows 7 Home Premium

Microsoft enables Windows XP Mode, a functionality of running older programs, with Windows 7, and it is only available in Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise. This video will show you how to download it on Windows 7 Home Premium, Home Basic, and Starter.

The only thing that you need to be aware of is what kind of operating system you have. Since my system is running 64-bit, I need to start Internet Explorer in 64-bit mode. The same goes for all the 64-bit users that are watching this video. Then, you need to download the 64-bit version of Windows XP Mode for Windows 7

to run virtual pc on windows 7 home premium you have to select windows 7 ultimate on the virtual pc website then download the update and install the update then virtual pc should work on windows 7 home premium

@ULtimateTailsFan213 It seems like you have HAV. Your BIOS is locked, like most laptops, so you don't have access to HAV options. Try running another virtual pc (Windows Vista, 2000, etc) and see what happens.
