Even though I'm only 14, I went to see my first George Winston concert in mid-December with my parents (my dad likes his music) and absolutely fell in love with his work. The way he played it was magical and undescribable; the combination of the notes and chords that he uses really sounds like that particular season. I've been playing piano for almost 8 years now and I look up to him as an inspiration. Thanks for the video.

The People of Canada lost 92 acres of Experimental Farm land: "Order in Council: February 25, 1988 - Surplus Crown Assets Act - Sale to the Regional Municipality of Ottawa of a surplus parcel of vacant land (37.63 ha.) forming part of the Central Experimental Farm, which is situated on the west side of Merivale Road, north of Baseline Road, in the City of Ottawa, Ontario." Agriculture Ministers Bud Olson and Eugene Whelan, true heroes, refused to privatize any land at the Experimental Farm.

This is wonderful, i feel so calm just laying back and enjoying the view and chilling out with the music, i could do this all day, it's so relaxing.

This takes me back 20 years, the cold Japan winters in Matsudo-shi Chiba-ken with my boyfriend....I never wanted that time to end but it had too...I had to come back to America my home. We listened to George Winston daily in the cold winters...my memories will never die and I will always pray for him, and hope he is happy wherever he is. I loved that kind gentle man, he was so rare, so deep, so kind and everyone loved him. I wish I had told him I would never forget him.

@theforgoten6 We had our first snow just before Hallowe'en. Didn't stay but it was a taste.
