Here filmed pulling one of the Victorian Evening Specials, from Haverthwaite to Lakeside in Cumbria. It was a dull wet day, but not bad footage nonetheless.

  • The only criticism I have to make is the fact that the coach at the back is historically inaccurate.

  • Great video John.

Sam, please pass on our regards to Alan, your grandad, and congratulations on what he has achieved with No. 20. I, David Eaves, knew him back in the 1960s.

  • my god shes a beautiful engine i would love to go see her

  • Thats not Coppernob, thats Furness railway No 20 it does not have a name just 'Fr 20'. My Grandad is driving it he owns it. Coppernob is Furness Railway No 3 its at the National Railway Museum. Coppernob has not been able to work since 1942 because its boiler got partially blew up in the war. :D
