This is my 73 Chevy Vega Wagon idling through a pair of 4" Dynomax bullet muffs. It's powered by a Reher-Morrison 565ci BBC. 980hp and 811ft/lbs. No turbo, no blower, no nitrous, no alky. Looking to start testing the new combo this year.

UPDATE: First full pass with soft launch, conservative shift RPM and thru the mufflers... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGsoSxn1Glc

  • 1000+hp and small bump stick don't belong in the same sentence. It takes a lot of air to make 1000hp. My cam is nothing radical, but it isn't exactly small either. Post your cam specs.

  • Mug I think i can hear the (V-Tec) kicking in LOL :)

  • @savagele Give me some idea as to the price please. Im a serious cash buyer but not silly . Looking for someone who needs the money and has a good running Drag car in exchange. Email me . Thanks.

  • Nice car check out vega - world dot com

  • Can you give me a rough idea what youd sell the Vega Wagon for ? I am a cash buyer , dont need to take out a loan , and am looking for a race car for my local 1/8th track. Thanks.

  • WHAT THE MUG? MUG. I KNOW THIS WHIP. I love how fast your Mug grabs R's...

  • @iceman5X75 reaction times doesnt have anything to do with your et time. the clock doesnt start untill you move. but you are right the reaction time wins the race. I dont dial in faster than i run. hence me winning points almost every year

  • @Pearljam1282 really...my buddy was super pro champ back in 2007 in nhra proven fact that 75% of all bracket races are won by a breakout pass, one key thing people don't consider is that most people who bracket race in super pro or pro is factored down to two things reaction time and finish line racing, just some people don't understand a purpose built race car isn't going to repeat a 7.62 next pass could be a 7.65

  • @iceman5X75 really my car constantly runs 7.90 to 7.95 in 90+ degree weather. under that it is 7.80-7.84 pretty much every pass. so they can be made to repeat the same times:) thats how you bracket race buddy
