What sets Pat apart from any contemporary "guitar god" type players is his music, which is always more important than his virtuosity. Pats melody's say more to me than any lyric ever written could.

Delicate, delicious, sumptuous, silky, emotional, damn near perfect. If you love Farmer's Trust, you must also hear Letter from Home. Both are hypnotic and virtuoso compositions.

That song from the Deer Hunter is called "Cavatina"... another beautiful song and melody.
