Incentives come from profit, notoriety, and a steady job. There should be no incentives for people to do their jobs, aw fuck it im done, your going to think what your going to think about universal health care, and I'm gonna keep hoping I don't get sick.

Where do you think those labs, pharmaceutical companies and genetic reshearchers get their incentives from? I guarantee you the government wouldn't pay half of what they get now from private companies. That's why we do lead in medical advancements because people actually get paid here. I agree that there has to be a good median here though, too many uninsured people. Inusurance companies need to be regulated; no denials for pre existing conditions, no detuctables because that's just fucking BS.

Medical advancements as in cures, medications, and treatment procedures happen in labs, by pharmaceutical companies, med. students, and genetic researchers. Advancements in the field by surgeons are the only real advancements that are affected by Universal Healthcare, hey what about the guy who is working to build a small company that can't afford health insurance for it's own employees yet. What about that guy? Fuck him I guess.
