Russ Feingold weighs in on the FISA compromise, campaign finance reform and what type of President Barack Obama will be and why he's supporting him. Blitzer constatly tried to play Feingold up against Obama and Mr. Straight talk Feingold didn't take the bait.

  • This guy should run for President. A democrat with a spine. A respectable opponent.

  • I wish I was dead.

  • Vote for Ron Johnson!

  • As much as I would like for him to be president, we really need him in the senate...

  • Feingold makes me proud to be from Wisconsin. He does his homework and he stands up for what he believes in.

  • Hmmm...maybe he would be a much better president than Obama.I support Obama now b/c hes much better than McBush but it is so obvious that Obama has taken these positions to appeal to Conservatives.I'm for bi-partisanship but that doesn't mean that you throw out the Constitution. There are better ways to appeal to Conservatives

  • I was hoping Feingold would run for president a few years back. I like him.

He's probably too liberal to win a presidential election, unfortunately...

  • (contd) ... WHY? because he is probably the Congressman with the highest integrity of all... He puts country before his own position, unlike pretty much everyone who ran for Prez this cycle. HOW ? The Senate flipping to the Dems after Nov 06 meant committee control, and his highest priority was to use his position in Senate to help spur on the ending of the Iraq War. That was more impt to him than winning the highest trophy of the land for someone in the political industry. a GREAT GREAT man.

  • the Great Russ Feingold... Of the generation that followed the Ted Kennedys & Patrick Leahys, he is hands down the best legislator in Congress, and right now, the very best Senator of the 100 person body designated to Advise & Consent.

How refreshing is it to watch someone un-equivocate, and to take anyone to task with whom he disagrees on policy, incl Obama. To the person who said "he'd make a better Prez", he WAS running in 2006, then gave it up after Dems won Nov 06 elections. (Contd)

  • don't lose hope !.....

  • yeah , that was a slip !!!!...lol

  • wolf blitzer gave it away: barack has been chosen for president.
