Interview with the Ilan
Metroboard Creator
Owner of Kef Design, LLC
We've just introduced our new 36 Volt 600 Watt model with a super-thrilling 19 mph top speed, available with an 11 mile range NiMH battery pack (18 lb product weight) or a 15 mile range LiFePO4 battery pack (17 lb product weight, limited quantities)! Get yours today!

The Metroboard can be used for short range alternative transportation, recreational fun, as well as industrial mobility. Note that there are other electric skateboards on the market, but the Metroboard can't be beat for its combination of size (27" Mini), weight (17 lbs vs. a back breaking 52 lbs for other electric skateboards out there), portability, power (600 Watts-NEW!), and smoothness of acceleration and braking. Each Metroboard is built by hand and follows strict quality control to ensure a long lasting reliable product. It comes with a 6 month warranty so you know that we stand behind the exceptional quality of the product. All service and maintenance needs will be handled locally in Portland, or through excellent and fast technical support by phone or email (if you live outside of the Portland area), to ensure your Metroboard will always be running in optimal condition.

We now offer four deck options, a longboard (9.75" wide x 41" long), a midsize board (9.5" Wide x 36" long), a shortboard (8.5" wide x 32" long), and our new super compact mini (8.25" wide x 27" long). In addition, if you have a specific deck that you like, we can custom build a Metroboard with whatever deck you choose. Higher tech Ni-MH and LiFePO4 batteries are also available, which reduce the product weight significantly, increase the range (distance on a given charge), and increase cycle life (the number of charges you can get out of the batteries). Of course, they cost more, but you can always upgrade to this type of battery later on.

PS. The iPhone Mic was defective, so I tweaked the end result.
