Bill Dickens showed off some major skills at the Dean Markley Strings Booth here at NAMM '08. Check out more live coverage from NAMM at www.myspace.com/deanmarkleystrings
Sorry but I pay my own bills and I choose my own strings. Your basically saying you would whore yourself out for money. These endorsers say their product is best until they lose their endorsement and then go on to say some other product is best. Maybe you should go practice being a whore so one day you might get an endorsement deal.
@greyfoxzero you hate it because they're not paying Your bills... if a manufacturer was going to pay you, you would be doing the same... now maybe you should go practice, so one day fisher price might use you as an extra in an ad.
@Chainedorlo If you're really really reeeeally serious about bass it'd be what it takes.. I know of a piano teacher at a private collage near where i live. I go to music camp there every summer, anyway he charges 100 bucks an hour as well for his lessons. I'm not suprised that these people get students though. They have tons and tons of respect and they've been doing their respective instruments as professions for a long time. I would love to be someone like that someday. College first of course
I was personally standing at the Bartolini booth when this happened. Yes it really was a wire situation in the bass not the amp. Just telling it as it happened.
