For all we know that's the best chance the horse had of surviving. Im sure the vast majority of you commenters are well respected equine vets, so pardon my misinterpretation of what looks like blatant ignorance. If you give that many shits about how a guy is trying to save its life, then spend 15 years in the vet field and invent the "proper" way give a horse effective cpr. If you're not willing to do that, then do us all a favor by shutting the fuck up.

Cardiac Massage by jumping on the horses chest?! Are you kidding me!! They are trying to get the horse to STAND! Not trying to help him! I'm sorry, but these morons were not helping the horses condition, they were worsening it. Terrible people. Never should own such amazing Animals.

@blazinghot18 Im not sure of the circumstances in the video, but it looks like the horse is in cardiac arrest, so hypoxia is causing the hyperventilation and the jerking movements. Hes actually trying to perform an external cardiac massage in the same way you would carry out CPR in a human, albeit with a slightly crude execution. Although without IPPV and epinephrine its got limited potential for success. I'm in no way condoning bull fighting its a terrible 'sport'. Just a veterinarians 2 cents.
