If there's an accident during a Formula One race, parts of the car often remain on the track or a car can stop in a dangerous position. If this happens, then the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Safety Car and its driver, Bernd Mayländer, come to the fore. This feature shows Bernd Mayländer's tasks and duties, as well as everything Formula One drivers have to take into account during a Safety Car phase:

  • @maxxbad17 bugatti suck in look zonda r is amazing

  • @OTKSenior OR A BUGATTI?

  • @mazdaplz Haha funny. I'm an old man at 33. OK.

  • @wks1978 said something like that cause that was actually a part of a top gear episode i think, or a documentary about senna i am not really sure. but i had seen an article about it in google so i told you just what to type. do you absolutely have to be a douche?

i follow formula 1 since 1993 too, i remember because i also followed the olympics in barcelona that year. difference is that i was really young since i am not an old man like you are, maybe i got confused because my toy car was mclaren

  • @mazdaplz Nope. You're wrong. That car of Senna's that Hamilton drove was the McLaren MP4/4 from 1988, not 1994. It shows how much you know because Senna drove for Williams in 1994. Look up the respective cars on Wikipedia or the F1 website. I've been following formula 1 since 1993.

"or something like that" just about sums up the factual content of your comment.

  • @wks1978

you're wrong. last year lewis hamilton took the very car i am talking about with the marlboro ad, it was the car of ayrton senna and hamilton himself says it has 1200 hp before driving it, i am quoting him. look it up you can search google lewis hamilton senna 1200 or something like that. it was a turbo f1 car from mclaren

  • @mazdaplz The didn't have 1200 bhp in 1994. They had about 800, same as today.

The turbocharged cars of the 1980's produced about 1200 bhp in qualifying setup and around 800-900 in race setup.

  • why not just use the Virgin F1 car as safety car...

  • for functionality + economic = let it be the gtr lol
