This animation was developed from (art)n's PHSCologram work of the same title. Here (art)n sets the scene with a new media take on a Mies Van Der Rohe classic. The Farnsworth House is reconstructed virtually with the addition of developed spacial elements to bring about a mise-en-scène truly worthy of the great architect and the PHSCologram medium. Careful attention was payed towards all elements of style and arrangement in this virtual stage just as Mies himself treated his architectural designs.
Based on: Mies-en-scène : The Farnsworth House, 2009
Artists: (art)n, Ellen Sandor, Chris Kemp, Chris Day, Ben Carney and Thomas Meeker
Details: 40"x24" Digital PHSCologram, Duratrans, Kodalith, Plexiglas
