Anna Vissi - Asteria 1998 concert Part 7 of 12

Anna Vissi's concerts at Asteria in 1998 were so spectacular that they catapulted her to international artist/musician acclaim. These 4 sometime 5 hour spectacles would last into the wee hours of the night. Sometimes she would not get off stage until 4 in the morning while her fans chanted for encore after encore. She was 45 when her 30 year career finally blew up outside of Greece. This concert would, later in the year, get launched by Sony on an International Tour to promote her talent. Her passion on stage, incredible vocals and arabic/greek and operatic inspired music intoduced new fans from around the world. Stars like Aretha Franklin, David Morales, Prince, Patricia Field, Prince Charles, to name a few, would be seated front row at her concerts.
