Titletown is all about the towns that get titles. I believe it takes more than just having one team (Green Bay - Packers, Columbus - Ohio State). I think it should be LA. Think about it - Lakers, Dodgers, Angels, Ducks, Kings, Galaxy, and then what NYC doesn't have - college teams. USC football, UCLA basketball, and I'm sure those two schools have won titles in other sports as well.

LIke most cities, most of NYC sports complexes were paid for by the taxpayers, so any claims of ownership are mutual. To call some place titletown has to do with titles won, and I can name over a half dozen cities in this country that are more deserving then little Green Bay.

And Green Bay is the original Title town............12-time champs, our former coach has the honor of his name to be on the SuperBowl trophy.
