  • Very good. Nice organ and recording.

Thats not far from where I have tinkled in St. Mary in the marsh.

This peice would suit the organ there because is very small.

  • @goodchappy

Thank you. I was watching your video only the other day. what sort of Hauptwerk setup do you have?

  • @SimonKane1 arrh which "video" of mine did you listen to?

My Hauptwerk setup is very basic at the moment, just one yamaha keyboard, two 22inch touch screens, a computer that I made myself with an intel i7 CPU, 12Gig of fast RAM and a professional EMU 1616m sound card. I am about to rebuild it with a faster solid state hard drive as the Salisbury Cathedral sample set takes some time to load. I intend, finances and space permitting to build a proper console, hopefully with at least 3 manuals.

  • @goodchappy Sorry about the delay,

It's been so busy over here. I had been listening to your For all the Saints and your Christmas carols. They sound great with great registration changes. I'm the same as you. Waiting for the finances to be right then I'll try and get a Hauptwerk system set up. I started playing the organ aged 9 on Chester Cathedral organ. Sounds good but i've found that you start with something so amazing, all other organs don't compare. Hauptwerk is the way for me. :-)

  • Is this Dr. Berkely Hill playing this piece or someone else? Well done

  • Hi, thanks for your comments. My performance of Great is thy faithfulness is on the organ that comes with Hauptwerk but I have altered a lot of the settings and pipe voicings etc because I think the default settings make it sound like it is in a large bathroom. Hopefully you will agree that if I hadn't said, you would think it was the real thing.

  • Very Nicely Done One Of My favorite Organ Pieces! :-)
