the german-language stuff is getting more common! but there are also bands singing english. but most of the austrian listening the charts, so they listening to english songs. gustav isn´t well known, but she´s played on fm4. thats a austrian radiostation, which plays indie & alternative and stuff like that.

Well-known? LOL, no. Maybe among music geeks, and I'd guess if you know her in Germany you're probably from the south (she's from Austria, where German-language stuff still seems more common). Definitely a somewhat wacky combination of pop music influences, leftfield attitude and biting lyrics. Oh, and this song here is called "swansong" but turns out to be the very first track on the album. Should have expected that...

naja Peter licht ist glaube ich nicht ganz so weit was den inhalt seiner texte angeht oder? Aber auf alle Fälle hörenswert - eine deutschsprachige anne clark würde ich sagen - love it!
