Flash Gordon: Akim the Terrible 3/3

Sorry the sound's a little out of sync in this part; I forgot to fix it before I uploaded. You'll hear (or I have heard) a lot of people say that Steve Holland (who plays Flash) never came close to Buster Crabbe's portrayal of the character 20 years prior in the Cinema serial Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe. Although his hair has significantly less volume, Crabbe really nailed the comic book hero archetype, which is what Flash originally defined. I happen to agree with this, because in my opinion Steve Holland has as much alpha-male in him as he has acting talent. However, this show has drawn some applause due to its bumping of Dale Arden up from the 'damsel in distress' that she had always been to the intelligent, knowledgable babe who you see to my left. Anyone who says this has never actually seen this show. If you watch the episode 'Subworld Revenge' which I will upload shortly, you will agree that the people who wrote this had as much concern for the social promotion of women as McDonald's has for that of cows.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this episode; it's one of my all-time faves in terms of sheer entertainment. It's also the first thing I've ever uploaded. So subscribe or some shit if you'd like to see moar. And leave comments about anything; it helps my ego.
