no its cus people breath into the stomach more often if they have no idea what they are doing this is bad air goes in the lungs, thus getting hands only is better if you have no idea if you know how to do cpr eg trained for it then you do that. cpr > hands only > standing there screaming

There is enough oxygen in the blood to provide oxygen to the brain for quite some time after cessation of breathing. What's more important is getting that blood to the brain. Uninterrupted CPR increases the pressure in the system allowing oxygenated blood to reach the brain until the professionals arrive. You WILL break their ribs. If you aren't, then you're not doing it right. Mouth to mouth is done very poorly in people who aren't trained, and pausing lowers pressure.

@FadingAway90 no hands only cpr is for non-trained personal. drowning you give people breaths before compression, but always the normal 30:2 compressions to rescue breaths.
