  • Americans are cowards. They can only attack small nations that can not defend themselves. You will never attack Russia simply because the consequence for you would be devastating. You were not even able to defend your satellite Georgia. On the other hand, Russians did defend their allies Ossetia and Abkhazia with military force.

  • When the going gets tough, the U.S leaves! Thats their moto! They can't deal with real fight. They got fucked up in Vietnam, in Korea, in Samolia, and their C.I.A lost badly in Tibet. They struggled and have great deal of trouble fighting against armies that can take the fight to them!

  • @SEEANDPEA Amy Chua is simply a f*cked up person with the ultimate hatred against unfortunate people. If she were to be in China she would be the most hardcore Commie alive. In fact, I can prove to you right now that she is in the same group of those Chinese passers-by who let the 2-year old girl die in the middle of alley street in China. That is the true essense of Amy Chua. She is a heartless obnoxious Chinese person.

  • @KCAASE

It would be wise to prove yourself wrong before you make any statement. I commend the book "Day of Empire" that Amy Chua wrote, and then contemplate whether or not you were in the right position to say that she is never a fair person.

  • @rodnoverije

u silly guy, why would america waste life to defend a nation not worth defending. russia had to defend that little allies of theirs because its next door to them. if russia attack canada or america's neigbor it will defend

  • Amy Chua is never a fair person. She talked about the Europeans sharing knowledge among each others to better one another, but she simply chooses to talk about her ethnic Chinese people continuing to DOMINATE economically the nations of Southeast Asia and to live separately from the natives of those people. Chinese do not share knowledge and they live unfairly and separately from the natives of that that provide them opportunites. Amy Chu is lucky to be in America, in China she'd b differnt

  • @jmnage

You've been brainwashed by the white MSM. It's America that is violating human rights (killing innocent civilinas in Iraq, Afghan, Pakistan, Yemen, Africa, etc); U.S. Congress is the epitome of corruption from cash exchange with the big banks, MNC; the middle class in America is being wiped out faster than any country in the world; America has rapid increase of militia groups in midwest region; racism in America do and will continue to exist (don't pay attention to IR relationship) etc

  • @femaleasian1 The strange thing is that China is: A: still decades behind America militarily B. internally unstable due to a stark wealth gap, ethnic intolerance, poor human rights, and widespread corruption and C: fervently nationalistic. Mind you that no great civilization of the past was capable of dominating for long without a sense of pluralism, to include the Tang and Yuan dynasty. China is simply too ethnically homogenous to compete.

  • @mauiwowi You Sir, are a sellout to what it means to be American. She is an intellectually honest academic who is unbiased in her beliefs. This is exactly why China or for that matter any other Asian nation is not capable of becoming a hyper power: intolerance.

  • @AClassFighter Even Rome lost many battles in its history. The truth is that regardless or whether a country is a superpower or hyperpower, it isn't invincible. Vietnam was not lost on a military level. Westmoreland cannot recall a single military defeat in the entirety of the war, that's because the war was lost back home. Look at the state of Somalia now after the United States left. It's time for other "superpowers" to roll up their sleeves and help out in stabilizing the world too.

We are such cowards that we send our young men to foreign soil to fight against tyranny and stop terrorism. What is the utility in fighting Russia? You seem to argue geopolitics with high school cafeteria rhetoric. Ossetia and Abkhazia are small vessel states being used by Russia to fight a proxy war with its neighbor Georgia. Too bad America didn't lay the smack down on Putin's sad display of machismo with Georgia. But then what's the point? Everyone knows Russia is a bully.
