I strongly defend ranjini here.... I am as much a viewer as Mr. Sreekumar.... but every show as its own decorum and protocols which are to be defined by the producers and directors. If Ranjini was not good, she would not have been there as a host for 5 years... And honestly I think she does a fantastic job, she is friendly, creates a nice environment and honest... I think Mr. Sreekumar just has problems with her apparent style and dialect which comes from a generation gap - inferiority complex..

@georgedublin dude..Ranjini didn't take this lightly...the very nextday...she posted a big article against Jagathy, in Deccan Heralds online blog..Instead of Jagathy..she used the name "Mr.Moon"..and we all knw that jagathy is also called ambili by his friends.

@rosberg1234 Jagathy just expressed his views...and it was not just against Ranjini, but if u'd notice, it was against MG sreekumar and sharath as well. Both of them r known for making silly jokes out of contendors mistakes, and they take pride in it. I really appreciate Jagathy's will power to speak his heart out in front of a large audience. May be he went a lil overboard by mimicking Ranjini(which I agree wasnt necessary)..Apart frm that what he said was just facts...

how can he say that "he or she is not supposed to say any comments about the performance" ? he is wrong ! these reality shows are more of reality and less of shows. Ranjini is the anchor for the show for 5years because - only because of her, the show is so attractive. not because of how good the candidates sing.
