Former Santa Fe Warbonnet 8235 heads up a westbound baretable stack train at Maine as BNSF 7797 east heads up a load of double stacks. It's great to see an EMD Santa Fe Warbonnet back on home rails and in the great Southwest.

  • wow the BNSF was a pointless merger. the burlington northern just wanted to get into california, but they had the money to do that on their own buy just building some more track! the SPSF was a really practical merger because the kodachrome paint scheme was highly visible and the SP and SF had pretty much been the same RR for a few years. so yeah, the BNSF merger was pointless
