The Morning After & A Dumb Turtle

We had a nasty storm last night, following one from earlier in the day. Seems to be the new trend. The gardens didn't get hit too bad. Broke off some squash, laid down the corn. Lost a few shingles off the roof. We were lucky. And this dumb snapping turtle showed up.

Wow, some STORM ya had over there,....luvin' the sounds of thunder and the rain fallin' down, the wind,...what a STORM,...hopefully before june runs out, we'll be gettin' some great rainshowers like this,...as for that snapper, so snapper's are good eatin'? My grandma back in Bay City, Texas had a problem with these snappers,....mighty fond of newly hatched ducklings, she'd have like 40, maybe 50 ducklings and before day's over,....all eaten up by these critters! *****

@qualqui Yea..thunder and rain sounds real good...on somebody elses video ! :-0 I hear the turtle meat is very good, but I havent gotten quite that hungry. And yep..they will eat up darn near everything in and around a pond.

That turtle is excellent table fare :) We caught one once that weighed 47 pounds :)
