  • @angryaznman It is recommended that the molex is used at the back of the card, so you dont draw all the power from the mobo. :)

  • do you just put it in the pci and it works? you dont need any molex cable or some other power?

  • can anyone help with this audio card?the S/PDIF is optical?i want to connect my z5500 logitech with this card.if anyone knows and wants to help please answer.

  • @HiTechLegion You are one of my favorite tech people along with Linus :)

I'm planning to buy "Sennheiser HD 598" and "Logitech Z906" and I was wondering if this sound card is perfect for them. I mostly listen to music, then movies and then game.

Please let me know if this is the right sound card for me, or if I should be getting something else.

  • So... if i buy this and hook it up to my logitech z906, i wont get real 5,1 sound in games and stuff? If i cant use this, what is a good soundcard for my setup? I want to get real sound in games and when i listen to music...

  • 6:34 You are WRONG

The Two jacks on the back are: 1st: Headphone out ; 2nd: Mic in / Line in

    Read the Specs:

    Analog Output Jack:

    RCA jack *2 (Front R / Front L), 6.30mm jack*1 (Headphone out)

    Analog Input Jack:

    6.30mm jack *1 (Shared by Line-In/Mic-In)

Other line-level analog input (for CD-IN/TV Tuner):

ux-In (4-pin header on the card)

  • ....I played some FPS games on the pc just after my last post the other day and the STX is rubbish for the 360’ sound aspect in games, while the THD has pinpoint accuracy for noises everywhere ---- I’m giving gaming up next week (long story lol) but love pretty high spec music so I had to play around for the best card that I wanted/needed ---- and the STX doesn’t have a 5.1 setup option either :/ which I’m really gutted about – but again – the THD is brilliant for films on that score.

  • @HandsBrosProductions Absolutely, the THD out-shines the STX on so many levels within games and films/movies ---- so if you want a sound card predominantly for games and video you need the THD (its good at music too, but light years behind the STX) – go for the THD mate you won’t regret it, its the best out there for what you need IMHO!!

  • @F1MMAnCITY so the THD was alot better for movies and games? im thinking about buying that one or the Asus

  • ....I’ll look into better op-amps soon. Up to now however the music is brilliant, yet to test in games and video – although the best sounding card I’ve ever had was the Auzentech Prelude about 3 years ago, only a PCI though :/ truly stunning sound from that beauty! It really twists my melon why they aren’t using the blueprint of the Prelude to outshine it though? Don't know what the hell Auzentech are up to tbh.

Thanks for the video mate :)
